When we first opened Modena Pizza & Ice Cream, we wanted it to be a place where folks could stop in for a quick slice of pizza knowing they wouldn’t be sacrificing quality for time. We brought a love of New York style pizza from the East Coast all the way over here to San Francisco, and we’re excited that we get to share that love with our city every day. Each morning starts with preparing our homemade dough and our specialty sauce made with fresh ingredients and plenty of flavor. When that’s all ready to go, we add the cheese and the toppings. But our favorite part of the process is serving those slices to you, our guests! It's pretty cool that such a simple combination of bread, sauce, cheese, and toppings can inspire the widest smiles.

Welcome to SF PIZZA. My wife and I have lived in San Francisco for over 20 years. Although we are not native, we realized a long time ago that our hearts are connected to the City by the Bay. We are self described “foodies” and San Francisco is one of the best foodie cities in the world. Our love of food and especially pizza was the inspiration to open a pizzeria that could showcase our passion. Our delicious homemade recipes using high quality ingredients is what makes our pizza special. From our daily made dough and sauces to each hand cut, naturally sourced meat and veggies, you’ll taste and crave the freshness we serve. So at SF PIZZA we say love food, love life, love each other and we can have piece on Earth and great pizza!

We serve Nepalese spiced and American style Pizza, Curry and MoMo (Dumpling). In addition to vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive dishes, We have milder food for children. For those with allergy sensitivity, we accommodate by ensuring to use different pans to cook their meals. Our dishes feature a variety of different spices (many source from Nepal and India); vegetables and meat are fresh. We offer beer and wine w/ slices of pizza and salads. At our restaurant, we offer good quality, well-prepared food in a comfortable environment with clean restrooms, polite, and helpful staff.
