Geno Valle landed out west in 1989 from Cincinnati, Ohio and was determined to open his own salon to house his extensive collection of art, photography and love of plants. . . he was inspired by Hindu gods and goddesses and one day it came to him in looking at a picture of Shiva,
“THE HAIR OF THE GODS IS SO ELABORATE”
and that is how the name and salon was born here in San Francisco in 1997.
