Oral Appliances (not CPAP) are recommended as first-line therapy for mild and moderate sleep apnea and for patients with severe sleep apnea who cannot tolerate CPAP. Our lead doctor is Board Certified in Dental Sleep Medicine and our treatment falls under the coverage of medical insurance and Medicare.

Dr. Rahimi is a Bay Area native. He has been practicing dentistry at his office, Divisadero Dental since 2013. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Dr. Rahimi then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While at Tufts, he earned the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Award. Following dental school, Dr. Rahimi furthered his education by completing a general practice residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. When Dr. Rahimi is not at the office, he enjoys surfing and traveling.
