BATS Improv is excited to announce in-person shows starting in August. Our theatre is located on the 3rd floor of Building B, Fort Mason Center.

State-of-the-art 437-seat facility hosting special events that include performing arts & lectures.

We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit arts organization and theater that serves the community by creating, sustaining, and defending spaces for live performance. We seat 99 and can host up to 125 audience members in our intimate, eclectic, odd and wonderful subterranean lair. Our San Francisco Theater moved to the North Beach neighborhood in September 2022 after 9 years in The Mission District.

Club Fugazi Theater is home to the long-running hit "Dear San Francisco" from the world-renowned circus and arts collective, The 7 Fingers (www.7fingers.com). The show premiered in October 2021 to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike and has continued to win awards every year. This explosive, intimate, and immersive experience was created by Bay Area natives and serves as a love letter to the City by the Bay. A menu of small bites, shareable plates, and desserts, with a wine list drawing on the Italian roots of the Club, elevates the experience to what San Francisco Magazine called "San Francisco's Best New Night Out." Winner of 6 2024 readers' polls, including Best Venue, Best Show, "Travellers Choice" on TripAdvisor.
