Original Giron Escrima (OGE) — Filipino Martial Arts in the Bay Area Learn the traditional Filipino martial art of Escrima — a practical, weapons-based fighting system rooted in the combat experience of WWII veteran Grandmaster Leo Giron. OGE is led by his son, Grandmaster Michael Giron, who founded the Original Giron Escrima Federation to preserve his father's authentic teachings. Our San Francisco classes are taught by Guro Evan Rubin at 3201 Balboa St (inside Alliance Fencing) with additional outdoor training in Golden Gate Park. We also have a new Santa Rosa location with classes Monday and Wednesday, 6:00–8:00 PM. All experience levels welcome. We offer a free trial class — give us a call to set up an intro conversation.

We would like to invite you all to come check out our classes. We study the Russian Martial Art of Systema as taught by Vladimir Vasiliev in Toronto, Canada. Training covers a wide range of topics from striking and grappling to restorative health practices and weapons.
