Booker T. Washington Community Service Center

Welcome to the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, one of the leading local non profit organizations where Jewish culture and traditions provide a pathway for joyful, meaningful living. Here, you'll find engaging programs for every age, designed to inspire and bring people together. From state-of-the-art group fitness and preschool programs to adult lectures and Jewish cultural events, we welcome you to join us and experience the many ways the JCCSF can enrich your life. Together, we are stronger.

The Center was founded in 1939 by Russian immigrants to preserve, celebrate, and exhibit the cultural heritage of the Russian diaspora through community programs and events. Our cultural programs include a museum, a bilingual pre-school, children's folk dance classes, and annual festivals.

The Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC/the Center) is located in San Francisco's historic Japantown. We are proud to serve over 185,000 annually through our programs, events and facility. Owned and operated by the community, we work to preserve and promote Japanese and Japanese American culture, heritage and community. We invite you to come by and see what's going on at the Center.
