Aref and Dalia Elgaali and their four children came to America in 2016. Upon discovering that San Francisco had no authentic Sudanese restaurants, they decided to bring the great taste of their homeland to the Bay Area. Their collaboration is a labor of love with Aref re-creating family recipes passed down over generations for the soups, salads, and entrees while Dalia specializes in taste-tempting desserts such as Baklava, Basbosa and her delicious Dalia Rice Pudding.
