About

Moving Arts Academy of Dance provides a nurturing environment for students to excel technically and artistically. We are located in the Mission Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco, close to BART and Muni lines. We offer dance classes for children and young adults, and movement-oriented camps in the summer and over holiday breaks. For our Children's Dance Program, Moving Arts Studio is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 9 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development.

Since 1999, SFYBA has been sharing the joy of classical dance with children. We provide a disciplined and nurturing environment in which to study. The curriculum is designed to offer professional ballet training should students decide to pursue a dance career, but more importantly it offers the beauty of classical study to any student who desires to learn. From pre-ballet students to the most advanced dancers, the faculty is dedicated to making our acclaimed program an enriching and memorable experience. Class sizes are also limited so that we may provide excellent individual attention and coaching.
